Kit for connecting cold shrink cables for voltage 66 kV
Rated voltage: 66 kV, lightning impulse withstand voltage ≥ 250 kV, power frequency withstand voltage ≥ 125 kV (continuously for 30 minutes); partial discharge capacity ≤ 5 pC (complies with IEC 60840 standard).
Main design: double-layer silicone heat shrink tube, built-in ready-made stress cone to optimize electric field distribution; The copper braid of the screening mesh ensures the restoration of the metal screen along the entire circumference.
Applications:
- laying cross-linked 66 kV cable in the ground/tunnels, suitable for corrosion-resistant environments in chemical industrial parks;
- reconstruction of the electricity collection line at new power increasing substations to operate in harsh conditions such as salt fog and high humidity.
Risk Prevention:
The use of cold shrink tubes with axial cutting is prohibited to avoid stress concentrations leading to ruptures;
Avoid external bending for 24 hours after installation.
