A cross-shaped removable contact tip is a device designed to quickly connect and disconnect pipelines without the use of complex tools. Connection and disconnection of the piping system is accomplished by simple insertion and removal.
Construction
It consists mainly of two parts: plug (male) and socket (female). The plug part usually has a protruding contact pin or pipe, and the socket part has a corresponding socket or connector. Additionally, they can be equipped with O-rings, locking mechanisms and other components.
Operating principle
When connecting: The contact pin of the plug part is accurately inserted into the socket of the socket part. By turning, pressing or other operations, a tight grip is achieved. At the same time, the O-ring is compressed, forming a tight connection to the piping system.
When disconnecting: The release mechanism (if equipped) is activated and the plug portion is carefully removed to disconnect the system.
