220KV Composite Column Insulators are high voltage insulation equipment made of silicone rubber as the core combined with fiberglass rods and metal accessories, specially designed for power transmission lines and substations. Technical characteristics and scope:
Composite material composition:
Core rod: Made of epoxy glass fiber with a tensile strength of more than 600MPa (5-8 times higher than ceramic materials), which has high mechanical strength and 68 creep resistance.
Umbrella cover: Made of silicone rubber, which makes it hydrophobic and corrosion resistant, with a flashover voltage when dirty that is three times higher than traditional ceramic insulators.
- Fastening: Non-destructive crimping technology is used, which prevents damage to the core rod and ensures its mechanical strength.
Supports both vertical and horizontal mounting using a clamping device with a rubber gasket.
Operating conditions: altitude ≤ 1500 meters.
Low operating and maintenance costs: no regular cleaning required, maintenance frequency reduced by 50% compared to ceramic insulators.
High resistance to aging: after ten years of operation, hydrophobicity and corrosion resistance do not decrease.
Seismic and Explosion Proof: The rod core's vibration absorption ability is 7 to 10 times greater than that of ceramic insulators, and it has excellent impact resistance.
Substation: Supports equipment busbars or wires, replacing traditional porcelain post insulators.
Power transmission line: 220kV support wires fastening, especially suitable for polluted and high mountain areas.
