Open high voltage fuse RW10
Mainly used for short circuit and overload protection in 10kV distribution systems, with rated load current switching function, suitable for protecting overhead lines and distribution transformers
Basic functions
Short Circuit Protection: The fuse melts quickly, cutting off the fault current, protecting the distribution line and transformer.
Overload protection: achieving delayed melting due to the thermal accumulation effect of fuses, meeting the requirements of equipment overload.
Load current switching: Can manually switch the rated load current (≤100A), replacing some load switch functions.
Benefits
Easy to operate: Equipped with elastic auxiliary contacts and arc-extinguishing covers, enhancing the stability and safety of opening and closing.
Highly economical: simple structure, low maintenance cost, suitable for use in harsh environmental conditions.
Typical Application Scenarios
Distribution Transformer Protection: Short circuit and overload protection on the high voltage side of a 10 kV distribution transformer.
Branch nodes of overhead power transmission lines: isolation from short circuits and load switching on branches of distribution networks.
Industrial power systems: protection of high-voltage equipment in small substations, industrial and mining plants.
The RW10 fuse, due to its cost-effectiveness, operational flexibility and high reliability, has become the main device for short-circuit protection and load switching in 10 kV distribution systems. The selection must be fully evaluated taking into account load power, environmental conditions and operating frequency.
